Tagetes
everything you need to know about this flower ;)
I have one small plant that is actually a big boss π it’s called Tagetes erecta, but we call it kadifa.
I grew it on my balcony in Prishtina.
Now check this… my balcony faces north (so the sun is basically on a break π ), but this little queen said: “I’m good!” — and grew like she’s on a beach vacation ππΏ
Most people have kadifa in their yard, but not many know it’s not just pretty… it’s like a tiny doctor in a flower π©βοΈπΌ
Kadifa can:
– calm your stomach when it goes crazy
– help when cold or flu hits you
– boost your immune system like it goes to the gym πͺ
But hey — don’t overdo it! It’s not apple juice π it has strong oils and doesn’t suit everyone.
How do I make tea? Easy:
I take 1 flower, pour hot water over it, wait 15 minutes… then drink like I’m in a spa ββ¨
If my body says “mmm nice” — then I know it works for me.
Kadifa is also a multitasker:
– helps with women’s health
– clears nose and sinuses (bye bye blocked nose π)
– heals wounds and burns
– calms nerves when life goes wild π§ πβοΈ
– even helps skin stay fresh and young
And the best part?
All this comes from one small flower just chilling on the balcony and looking cute πΌ
So next time you see kadifa… don’t just say “aww flower”
say: “wow, little herbal ninja” π₯·β¨
