■ Anetha [BLOCAUS / Reclaim Your City, FR]
"A resident of the BLOCAUS event in Paris, as well as great collector of vinyl, Anetha is a young artist who has quickly become a prominent figure in the Paris underground scene. The Parisian based DJ and producer has been gaining quite a name for herself over the last year on the DJing front. She has played famous places in France and abroad such as Corsica Studios in London, CONCRETE and Rex Club in Paris and Under Bron in Stockholm or Tresor and About Blank in Berlin. Preparing for her debut at the institution Berghain/PanoramaBar during this month and being part of this years The Peacock Society are a testimony to what direction this girls techno power is moving towards. Oscillating between acid lines, melancholic melodies, hypnotic patterns and strong grooves, she also likes playing 90’s old school tracks offering a deep and pulsating journey. Anetha definitely knows how to take control of the dancefloor! Production wise, Anetha made her debut on November 2015 with an excellent EP on Spencer Parker’s imprint Work Them Records. The release was so successful that she is preparing a second one in the same label, due in September and remixed by Antigone and Spencer Parker. Also, She released on June 2016 a track called Tomorrow’s DNA on Reclaim Your City on the Paris – Berlin 2.0 EP alongside Francois X, I/Y and Abayomi. In October 2016, Anetha with the Blocaus crew presented their new imprint : Blocaus Series. Anetha, as a co-manager of the label, inaugurated it with a solo EP remixed by Stranger. The future is bright for this little lady of techno. She is definitely an artist to watch out for!"
■ Etapp Kyle [Klockworks / Unterton, UA]
"It took dj and producer Etapp Kyle just a short time to make a giant leap from a stay-at-home audiophile to a status as hero on the decks, attracting audiences of hundreds and thousands. By now it's clear he made the right moves – this young Ukranian artist is developing rapidly.
Today Etapp Kyle is on the threshold of a new level of creativity, alongside Techno music's key artists. His studio work is being met with critical acclaim by respected artists and labels. Thus, his debut four tracker EP got released on Ben Klock's label Klockworks, finally reaching the attention he deserves, channeling his music through sound systems of festivals and clubs worldwide. Having enlisted the support and interest of Russia's Techno institution ARMA17, he made his first appearance in Moscow a couple of years ago and held a residency there until 2014. These days he is travelling across the world made and also made camp with the Ostgut Ton team. With the most sophisticated combinations of Techno sounds of the dance floor, Etapp Kyle invites us to explore the depths of a piercing cold canyon, now and then carrying fleetingly to a textural and hardly tangible landscape of a forest at night, with softness and smooth motion of warm air. His love for dark and dynamic sounds finds its expression in the mixing with soft melodies and powerful grooves creating transparent, disembodied imprints of an illusory atmosphere."
"Our own chargé daffaires is always on a mission to bring the utmost experience of his musical understanding which eclipses the so called fashionable. An energetic ideal that is identified upon his original style that explores new dimensions that leaves a skeptic mind behind and leads an open mind to the future. With a luggage full of high-potent warmups, the key to open things up remains at the hands of the landlord." by Hapesira
■ Leo Lumezi
"His affair with electronic music started early in the 2000s, when together with his friends inspired by early techno and punk, they founded 'Undersound Collective' and opened the first underground club with the same name. Leo loves to explore all nuances of modern techno, from deeper sounds to the darker organic raw ones, which also let place for collective melancholic sensations and personal reflexions. His chaotic and mystified approach towards music transforms the dance floor into hypnotic trip through mind and space." by Hapesira
■ Vegim & Flekitza [TMM Records]
"Vegim known as Techno maverick! Flekitza becoming one of the most recognizable female djs in techno realm, two of the finest techno exports. Producers and innovators that have a style unlike any other. Running the prestigious label TMM Records together, armed with massive tracks, dark beats, deep atmospheres, hypnotic sounds and mixing ability combined is a story that is one of a kind. " by Hapesira
See you at the dance floor! :)
