#LetUsDance campaign to support nightclubs

Some of the biggest names in dance music have come together to launch a new campaign, calling for the Government to pledge its support to the industry.

The likes of Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and Norman Jay OBE have all committed to the #LetUsDance initiative and issued an urgent plea to support the dance music clubs and events sector.

While the government announced a £1.57bn support package for Britain's arts and culture sector recently, it is still unclear whether that supports nightclubs, dance music events and festivals.

While some club organisers are beginning to host socially distanced events, it's impossible for the vast majority of venues and festivals to open with Covid-regulations in place.

Most are unlikely to host shows for the foreseeable future, with reduced capacities having a dramatic impact on income.
