🌹 Homemade Rose Water – simple, fragrant, and gentle!
…make it yourself, simple as that.
You need:
-
1 handful of fresh rose petals (best if fragrant and organic 🌹)
-
1 cup of distilled water 💧
-
1 small pot with a lid
-
1 glass bottle for storage
How to make it:
Wash the petals gently in cold water to remove dust or tiny bugs.
I like to soak them in zeolite :)
Put the petals in the pot and pour distilled water just enough to cover them.
Heat it up! Keep on very low heat — don’t let the water boil (if it boils, the scent fades).
Cover and let it steam for about 20–30 minutes, until the petals lose their color.
Cool it down and strain through gauze or a fine strainer.
Pour into a glass bottle and store in the fridge.
💫 How to use it:
-
As a face toner – refreshes and soothes your skin.
-
Add a few drops to your bath – smells like a spa! 🛁
-
You can also add a bit to cakes, lemonade, or tea for a special touch. 🍰🍹
Smell like a rose and feel rosy :D 🌸
